I’ve never met a Filipino vegetarian. And after telling my family that I’m trying out the diet for a year, I now know why.
Between my grandpa constantly muttering how I should be eating meat and my grandma “forgetting” to mention that she added chicken to the baked fettuccine, I’ve decided it’s nearly impossible to be a Filipino vegetarian.
